We’re celebrating Smalltown Society’s 10-year history in Castro Valley with the community we love. We will be screening Stop Making Sense, the iconic live concert film from David Byrne’s Talking Heads. Doors open at 7 p.m. Come early to enjoy a street band playing Talking Heads songs in the lobby, and a custom pre-show featuring behind-the-scenes info, funny clips, covers, and clips that celebrate Talking Heads and their place in the history of arts and culture.

This event is full circle; the first official Smalltown Society event was “Bryne After Reading,” a book club where we went through David Byrne’s book ‘How Music Works’.
