Video LAB: learn the basics of video editing and production

  • Smalltown Society 22222 Redwood Road Castro Valley, CA, 94546 (map)

Want to create videos for YouTube, TikTok, Reels, and more? Come join us for our first Video LAB — a hands-on intro to video editing using DaVinci Resolve, one of the industry's most powerful (and free!) tools. No experience necessary. No equipment needed. Just show up ready to learn.

By the end of this session, you'll know how to edit a live music performance from start to finish.

Want to edit along with us? If you have a laptop, sign up on Eventbrite before the event and we'll send you video assets and setup instructions so you're ready to go from minute one.

Can't bring a laptop? No problem — you're still welcome to watch, follow along, and take everything in.

How to Find The Clinic: We work out of a space in First Presbyterian Chruch, but are not a part of the church. To find our office, park in the lot behind Trader Joes, near the Gymnasium. Find the string lights and you will see a door that has a sign that says "Clinic".
