What is the Secret Screen? It is a private movie club hosted at The Chabot Theater. Once a month, Smalltown Society takes over their screen to program films that celebrate music, art, and the creative journey.

Beginning January 17th with an award-winning MYSTERY film – described as "hilariously disturbing and disturbingly hilarious" by a critic. This film, rarely seen on the big screen, promises a visually stunning, deeply meaningful, and funny experience, enhanced by the incredible sound on the Chabot's state-of-the-art audio system.

The event includes a custom pre-show (30 minutes before showtime), local music, and a post-film discussion. Look forward to upcoming months featuring David Byrne's American Utopia in February and This is Spinal Tap in March.

The pre-show starts at 7:15. The movie costs $5 at the door, plus a membership fee ($1 a month or $10 a year). Click here for more info or to sign up for a membership. Memberships are also available at the door.
